What Watt Guy is

Watt Guy is a practical resource for understanding power banks, portable power stations, uninterruptible power supplies and home backup, LiFePO4 batteries, chargers, and solar gear. The goal is to explain the electrical details that matter without burying the answer in hype.

Power products are full of numbers that look comparable until voltage, chemistry, conversion losses, duty cycle, or charging limits change the result. Watt Guy works through those details and names the tradeoffs so readers can make a better decision.

Our approach

Recommendations and explanations are built from manufacturer manuals and specifications, safety and regulatory material, independent published testing, and real buyer feedback. Measurements and test results from other sources are attributed to those sources.

Watt Guy does not claim hands-on testing that did not happen. When an article uses documented firsthand data, it will identify what was measured and how. Otherwise, the work is described as verified research.
